PICNIC is a multi-media platform that is open to forming networks and collaberations. It is a unique concept for a festival with workshops and interesting panel discussions to endorse a hign informative value.
Completed activities: GNR8 regularly reports on events. That being said, PICNIC is always our first choice! Our facilities provide us with the posibility to film and edit our own footage and stream it live on our website. That enables everyone to still see everything live although they aren't able to visit the event themselves.All the footage is also posted online and can be viewed on demand.
Alumni MEM
Client: Hogeschool INHolland
Assignment/ Event: Alumni MEM. A community website for MEM graduates.
Completed activities: These days it is reasonably easy to create your own community website with the help of the services provided by NING. Making sure that the design of your website fits the client, in this case INHolland is also of great importance.
KvK Techniek wedstrijd
Client: The Chamber of Commerce
Assignment/ Event: To increase the interest of working in the technological industry, the Chamber of Commerce has organized a technological contest for primary schools.
Completed activities: GNR8 mad a promotional film and reported on the contest. The promotional film was posted on the Chamber of Commerce website as a commercial for the contest to try and get more school involved next year.
GNR8 LIVE
Client: GNR8
Assignment/Event: GNR8's showpiece is GNR8 LIVE, it provides the opportunity for you and your co-workers to visit amazing events and do a live report on them. It also allows you to create your own live show where you can present the newest developments in the media and entertainment world.
Completed activities: Doing a show live obviously comes with a lot of work. Filming, directing and presenting, but that's not all; don't forget the technical side of streaming it live while using several cameras.
GAANWEDOEN.TV
Client: Province of Noord-Holland
Assignment/ Event: GaanWeDoen.tv
The province of Noord-Holland wants to show the yourt that they matter and is giving them the opportunity to actively participate in the development of their city. Participants may send in a 1-minute video, presenting their idea. The best ideas will be executed with the help of professionals.
Completed activities: With a project such as this one, having students working at GNR8 from several different backgrounds is an advantage. Because we can work together on several areas, like: webdesign, webdevelopment and partially in communications.
i-TV Battle
Client: UPC
Assignment/ Event: Creating a format to showcase how TV will look in the year 2015. The winning team wins an certain amount of money to produce the format.
Completed activites: A team of five GNR8 students has delivered 3 different videos that show the origin of the format from the first stage to the finished product.
