Netwerk023

Netwerk023 is the network for media, advertising and internet corporations who have a connection to Haarlem. The network is an initiative of Urbanology, Direct Force, Blutarsky and the studentcompany GNR8. The site's homebase is: www.netwerk023.nl.

Every three months we organize a workshop and networkmeeting because we believe that just an online network is not enough. One of the most important reasons for launching the online network is a general lack of a network for freelancers, entrepreneurs en students working within the creative industry in Haarlem. This network fills that void and offers creative minds to meet online as well as offline.

  Website

The Netwerk023 website is an online community where every member makes their network visible to other members. They do this by adding contacts and participating in discussions on the forum. In the near future it will be possible to use the Netwerk023 website to let other members know where you're having lunch, go out and which events are being visited.

Launch

The community went live in early October with 60 invitations going out to direct relations. On the 16th of October, two weeks later the first networkmeeting was held in the Lichtfabriek in Haarlem. At that time the website already had 147 members. There were 100 members present, out of those 147, at the Lichtfabriek to have drinks. During this meeting, John Meulemans (Urbanology), Peter Hoekstra (Blutarsky) and Karel Koch officially launched Netwerk023.

Value for the corporate world

The advantage that this network holds for its members is that it creates the opportunity to come into contact with fellow entrepreneurs from the industry. Netwerk023 offers its members the opportunity to share knowledge and starting new initiatives by combining their ideas.

Value for students

The network offers students a great platform to come into contact with creative corporations when starting out in the creative industry.
