Welcome to GNR8                                                                     

GNR8 (pronounced as generate) is THE learning company of Hogeschool Inholland that focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship in media and communication. At GNR8 we work with a multidisciplinary team of students who work on projects related to businesses in the creative industry. The students come to GNR8 for an internship, a minor or graduation project.

The purpose of GNR8 is to stimulate the collaboration and networking between the creative industry and Hogeschool Inholland. Students who do their internship at GNR8 are always challenged to think outside of the box because they come from different schooling backgrounds. The mbo and hbo students fill the following positions: office manager, general project assistant, interaction designer, designer, web programmer and AV production assistant.

GNR8 has offices in four locations: Haarlem, The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. The main location in Haarlem was founded four years ago. Three years later one in Amsterdam opened its doors and in September of 2010 the last two ( in The Hague and Rotterdam) where established.

Are you a creative mind searching for a challenge? Then GNR8 is the perfect place for you! GNR8 is always looking for students who are brave enough to accept this challenge, whether it's as an internship, a minor or a graduation project. Being innovative, creative and showing initiative is of great importance when it comes to working at GNR8. So, are you a student who has affinity with new media, innovation and audio- and audiovisual documentation, then there is a chance for you to be considered to work for GNR8. GNR8 works for a diverse number of companies in and around Harlem. These projects are executed by diverse groups of students.

Brainstorm sessions

Got a creative idea that you'd like to test on a diverse, but critical audience? Every day, at every GNR8 office there are groups of students present to give you their undivided attention and maybe shed a new light on your idea or concept. There are separate rooms at every GNR8 location that provide you with the opportunity to discuss you ideas in private.
