[Amsterdam] IFIUS Amsterdam 2011

De 13de editie van de World Interuniversity Games werd dit jaar georganiseerd in Amsterdam.

Wat houden de World Interuniversity Games in:

Van 10 tot 14 oktober, waren er ruim 700 studenten uit 35 landen over de hele wereld in Nederland voor verschillende sportactiviteiten. Er waren ruim 60 verschillende teams van universiteiten van onder andere Spanje, Roemenië, Algerije, Iran en Rusland gekomen om hier verschillende sporten uit te oefenen zoals: basketbal, volleybal, veld- en zaalvoetbal, golf en pitch & putt.

En dit allemaal georganiseerd door studenten afkomstig van de Inholllandminors Sport, Wellness and Lifestyle en Leisure and Business Events.

Wat moest er gedaan worden:

GNR8 zijn aandeel lag in het social media gebied, Galya en ik (Tom) hebben voor IFIUS onderzocht naar mogelijkheden om mensen vanuit buitenaf er zoveel mogelijk bij te betrekken en dit op een pagina te zetten op de IFIUS site.

We waren uitgekomen bij de site Coveritlive voor het uitfilteren van de tweets en de mensen van buitenaf de optie te geven om te reageren zonder twitter te hebben. Om Facebook er bij te betrekken hebben we de wel bekende Facebookbadge op de pagina geplaatst en zo ook gelijk 2 hoofdtaken vastgesteld, Galya zou zich bezig houden met de Facebook pagina en ik met Coveritlive.

Er er werden zelf connecties gelegt op twitter door middel van de hashtags, hier een voorbeeld ervan:

Conclusie:

Dankzij de intergratie van Coveritlive en Facebook, hebben wij meer bekendheid kunnen geven aan de World Interuniversity Games en de site bezoekers een idee kunnen geven van hoe het was om er bij te zijn.

[Haarlem] An all new GNR8 Live International

In this new episode of GNR8 Live Annaïs Renté is going to talk to Farran Pallas live from Barcelona about Tweet Festival. There's going to be a guest in the studio called Dick Breeuwer from Guatemala, with him Annaïs will discuss the 'How we see Dutch' section. The last topic of the show will be a discussion about the Ipad, is it a fail?

[Haarlem] Liveshow international #2

The new GNR8 Live International is here! This time we talk about fails, things that doesn't work. For this, we are going to go out of the studio, and ask on the streets of Haarlem. During the show there is a live connection with Natalia Carranza and Ferran Pallas (from Barcelona). Also, Yujie Ying, is going to be in the studio to be interviewed The topics of the show are: 

• What is not working in the Netherlands 
• Which social network Dutch people use the most

• Fails. Social networks that had failed or that didn't have success (connection by Skype)
• HOW WE SEE DUTCH. New section where international people talk about the differences between their culture and Dutch waa of life. Yujie, from Shangai, is going to explain us about their own social networks.
• Bed & Breakfast. First episode of a mini sitcom that shows how the technology and the addiction to social networks have affected on our everyday life
